visual narrative project

The focus of this project is the exploration of visual narrative form and its role in visual storytelling. Stephanie Cui's poem "Dawn" is used to create a traditional and non-traditional book design.

The traditional book consists of poetry paired with illustrations reflecting each different verse. A flip book was also made as a non traditional book. The video below shows how the book would flow when being flipped thorugh.
